Puffs with beef, garlic and curry: puffs crispy on the outside and tender inside with an unusual and delicious filling of beef, garlic, curry, ginger and coconut milk. An excellent choice for a walk or a picnic!

Curry chicken puff pastry step by step recipe

Peel and cut the potatoes into cubes about 1 cm. Boil in salted water for about 10 minutes, until the potatoes are boiled. Drain and set aside for a while.

Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Lightly fry the onions and garlic so that they add flavor, and then add curry to them. Stir and after a couple of seconds lay the chicken. When the chicken is fried, put potatoes and peas in a pan (there is no need to defrost in advance). Stir and remove the pan from the heat to cool to room temperature.

Heat the oven to 190 degrees.

Roll out the puff pastry and round the cookie cutter or with a small bowl of 10 cm in diameter, cut out the circles (about 14 pieces are needed for filling in this amount). Put about a tablespoon of the filling into each circle and firmly fasten the edges of the pie.

Put the pies on a baking sheet covered with baking paper, brush with a beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

  • Puff pastry
  • Chicken fillet - 2 pcs.
  • Onions - 1 pc.
  • Mushrooms (forest)
  • Soft cheese - 200 g
  • Curry
  • Soy sauce
  • Vegetable oil
  • Chicken egg
  • Sesame

Time for preparing: 90 minutes

Recipe "Puffs" Chicken Curry with Mushrooms "":

Defrost mushrooms, cut.

Fry onions in a pan, add mushrooms. Fry for about 5 minutes.

Add finely chopped fillet, sprinkle with curry (about 1 teaspoon), add soy sauce to taste. Fry under the lid so that the filling has time to cook and stay juicy. Leave to cool.

Roll out the dough and cut into squares.

Roll each square into an even thinner layer.

Sprinkle with grated cheese.

Cover with an envelope. Make it harder, otherwise it will open.

Grease the layers with an egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Send to the oven (200 gr.) For 30-40 minutes.
